Site Supervisor for Warehouse Automation Projects

About the role

Dematic, a global leader in intelligent logistics solutions, is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead large‑scale warehouse automation projects across Australia and New Zealand. This 18‑month fixed‑term role involves coordinating installation, commissioning and engineering activities on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical and electrical installation drawings and plans.
• Liaise with clients, builders and sub‑contractors to ensure project alignment.
• Supervise day‑to‑day activities of sub‑contractors and manage material procurement.
• Organise and oversee inspections, quality assurance and commissioning of equipment.
• Promote safety, risk identification and compliance with WHSE requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager on large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or electrical trade background.
• Strong communication, team‑leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel interstate and across the APAC region as needed.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
