About the role
Warrikal is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead rope‑access and scaffolding operations on a Tier One project in Collie, Western Australia. The role involves mentoring the on‑site team, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering work to client specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily site activities for rope‑access and scaffolding crews, ensuring work meets Australian standards.
- Coordinate rope‑access tasks in line with IRATA/SPRAT regulations and manage scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling.
- Lead pre‑start meetings, toolbox talks and safety briefings, and maintain clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Plan and allocate personnel, equipment and materials, and monitor progress against project schedules.
- Conduct site inspections, audits and daily/weekly reporting to project management.
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies, permits and legislative requirements, and promote continuous improvement.
- Maintain equipment certification, inspection and maintenance programmes.
Required profile
- Full Australian working rights and a valid Construction White Card.
- C Class driver’s licence.
- Relevant certifications: Working at Heights, Confined Space entry, Gas Test Atmosphere Qualification, First Attack Fire Training; willingness to obtain S26.
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude and proven ability to lead on‑site teams.
Required skills
- Rope‑access operations (IRATA/SPRAT).
- Scaffolding erection and dismantling to Australian standards.

- Equipment inspection and certification.
- Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmosphere qualifications.
