Site Engineer - TMR Infrastructure Project

About the role

A leading mid-tier civil contractor, active in resources, local authorities and main roads projects across Australia, is recruiting a Site Engineer for a local South Brisbane TMR infrastructure project. The project covers major roadworks and structures, with scope including earthworks, drainage, services and major road works. You will start with an initial focus on procurement and then move into delivery and construction. The position is full-time and local, with the expectation of being home every night.

Key responsibilities

• Procure key subcontractors and suppliers
• Program the project and plan daily activities
• Manage quality assurance
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Prepare financial reports and complete forecasts
• Ensure safety and environmental standards are met

Required profile

• At least 2 years of civil construction experience, ideally on main roads projects for a contractor in similar conditions
• Proven track record of delivering projects to DTMR specifications and quality standards
• Experience with main roads, TMR, local council or other state main roads projects
