Senior Manager - Tax

About the role

As a Senior Manager in the Corporate Tax Advisory practice, you will lead complex client engagements, mentor junior staff, and shape the growth of a fast‑expanding business. You will work directly with senior leaders and a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality tax advice and building lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of sophisticated corporate tax advisory engagements from planning to completion.
• Provide strategic, commercially focused tax advice across a broad range of corporate tax matters.
• Act as a trusted advisor, managing multiple client engagements and ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Review technical analysis, reports, and written advice prepared by team members.
• Identify tax risks, opportunities, and planning strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Partner closely with Directors and Partners on major advisory projects.
• Mentor, coach, and develop Managers and Consultants.
• Contribute to thought leadership, technical publications, and client presentations.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities and preparing proposals.
• Stay current with legislative and regulatory developments and guide clients through emerging tax issues.

Required profile

• 7+ years of corporate tax advisory experience in a professional services environment.
• Deep knowledge of Australian corporate tax legislation and its practical application.
• Proven ability to manage complex advisory engagements and client relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and business‑focused problem‑solving.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and developing teams.
