Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to own the finance function and provide real leadership impact within a fast‑growing global healthcare business. You will work closely with senior leaders worldwide to drive growth and ensure financial excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Australian and global tax obligations and internal policies.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and present findings to senior management.
• Lead and mentor the Accounting & Finance team located overseas.
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives.
• Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks and optimise performance across regions.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems and global reporting standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accreditation such as CPA or CA.
• Proven experience in financial management within the life‑science or healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and inspire a collaborative team.
