Senior Buyer – Procurement & Contracts Specialist

About the role

The Senior Buyer will join a leading EPCM firm in Perth CBD, supporting a major mining project. This position focuses on end‑to‑end procurement and contract management within the resources sector, requiring strong negotiation and commercial relationship skills.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and contract strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Monitor market trends and adjust procurement approaches accordingly.
• Research, analyse and assess potential suppliers for capacity, quality and reliability.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions to maximise value and sustainability.
• Conduct competitor analysis and benchmark best practices.
• Identify and evaluate procurement‑related risks.

Required profile

• Proven end‑to‑end project procurement delivery experience.
• Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or comparable professional experience.
• Track record of administering procurement and contracts within a team environment.
• High‑level written communication skills.
