Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing advisory team. You will work closely with a portfolio of business clients in the health, legal and finance sectors, moving beyond routine compliance to provide strategic tax and business advice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of financial statements for diverse business clients.
• Prepare and review tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide tax planning, structuring and strategic business advice to clients.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with managers and partners.
• Maintain high‑quality client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of public practice accounting experience.
• CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion).
• Strong tax and compliance expertise, including knowledge of Division 7A, trusts and small‑business tax matters.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
