Senior 12D Design Engineer – Civil Infrastructure

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior 12D Design Engineer to join its growing Australian team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality civil infrastructure designs using 12D Model, supporting critical projects across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed design models and documentation with the latest versions of 12D Model and AutoCAD.
• Develop innovative modelling solutions and keep pace with emerging industry technologies.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver cost‑effective engineering outcomes.
• Collaborate with other designers to maintain and improve design and modelling standards.
• Identify risks, opportunities and scope variances, and prepare design inputs for estimating activities.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Strong proficiency in 12D Model, including macro programming, snippet creation and chain management.
• Proven experience delivering 12D civil designs, especially road alignment, within a design consultancy.
• Solid understanding of road design principles and alignment methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
