Restaurant Manager – High Volume, Fast-Paced Venue

About the role

La Piazza, the vibrant Italian‑inspired restaurant at Bankstown Sports Club, is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead its high‑volume, fast‑paced dining floor. This hands‑on leader will own daily operations, ensure smooth service flow and uphold the venue’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a large front‑of‑house team in a busy environment.
• Oversee day‑to‑day service operations, maintaining efficiency and flow.
• Implement and maintain structured systems, procedures and service standards.
• Manage bookings, functions and peak periods with confidence.
• Control rostering, labour costs and overall operational performance.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to build capability.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and responsible service of alcohol standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or senior leader in a high‑volume venue.
• Strong operator with a track record of managing structured, busy environments.
• Ability to lead large teams and maintain performance under pressure.
• Highly organised with a focus on systems, flow and execution.
• Hands‑on leader who works alongside the team during service.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and peak periods.
• Current RSA & RCG certification (or willingness to obtain).
