Retail Team Member – Iconic Twelve Apostles Visitor Precinct

About the role

Join the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority at the world‑famous Twelve Apostles Visitor Precinct. As a Retail Team Member you will deliver friendly, efficient service to visitors while supporting daily retail and light food operations in a spectacular natural setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging customer service and product recommendations.
• Process sales transactions, handle returns, and apply promotions using the POS system.
• Receive, replenish, and organise stock; conduct stocktakes and maintain the stockroom.
• Keep the retail area clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Prepare beverages and light food items in line with food safety standards.
• Assist with managing customer flow during busy periods.
• Escalate any customer concerns to supervisors as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, tourism or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
• Attention to detail for merchandising and store presentation.
• Proactive, reliable and team‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check, Working with Children Check and provide proof of Australian working rights.
