Recruitment Officer

About the role

Sirrom is expanding across Western Australia and needs an experienced Recruitment Officer to support its Perth team. You will manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process for a variety of FIFO and corporate positions, ensuring a positive candidate experience and delivering quality hires for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with candidates over the phone and build genuine rapport.
• Review and shortlist high volumes of applications.
• Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess suitability.
• Coordinate face‑to‑face and Microsoft Teams interviews.
• Manage multiple vacancies across FIFO and corporate roles.
• Partner with Operations and Hiring Managers to understand workforce requirements.
• Prioritise recruitment activity based on business needs.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process.

Required profile

• Organised and proactive recruiter who thrives in a busy environment.
• Previous high‑volume talent acquisition experience, ideally within FIFO, mining, facilities management, construction or hospitality.
• Confidence building relationships with candidates and hiring managers over the phone.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
• Experience using recruitment systems such as JobAdder or similar ATS platforms.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience conducting phone screens, interviews and candidate assessments.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader team.
• Strong time‑management skills and adaptability to changing business priorities.
