Proposal Specialist – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Proposal Specialist will drive coordination and management of resources across the bid lifecycle for large, complex infrastructure projects. Based in Perth (or other Australian offices), you will work closely with senior stakeholders to translate technical offerings into compelling proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end bid process, including ROI analysis, tendering, interview preparation and debriefs.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to craft clear value propositions and persuasive messaging.
• Oversee multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring timely, compliant delivery under tight deadlines.
• Maintain high editorial quality, commercial integrity and alignment with AECOM brand standards.
• Leverage AI tools and share knowledge across diverse teams to enhance proposal efficiency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in proposal or bid management roles (e.g., Proposal Specialist, Bid & Proposal Partner).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong project management, organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Flexible, resilient and able to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple proposals and competing deadlines.
• Experience translating technical content into clear, client‑focused proposals.
• Familiarity with AI tools for document creation and collaboration.
