Project Management Support for ASCA Missions

About the role

The role supports the planning and execution of co‑design activities for Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator (ASCA) Missions, helping to develop strategies, engage stakeholders and onboard mission leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct mission initiation activities, develop problem statements, project charters and mission planning documents.
• Create stakeholder engagement and management plans in collaboration with Capability Branch leads.
• Support development of Mission Execution Strategy and transition to service requirements.
• Capture lessons learned, maintain registers and ensure follow‑up actions are implemented.
• Participate in branch meetings, provide status updates and deliver artefacts in line with Defence standards.

Required profile

• Ability to establish requirements through planning and tasking meetings.
• Experience supporting co‑design teams and developing procurement approaches.
• Proficiency in developing delivery frameworks and future strategy planning.
• Capability to manage data, governance requirements and business management tools.

Required skills

• Use of ASCA Business Management System (BMS), CRM, JIRA, Confluence.
• Familiarity with EP3M scheduling tool.
