About the role

Join the Dawson Mine team in Moura, Queensland, as a Multi‑Skilled Operator operating excavators or shovels and trucks in a large open‑cut coal mine. The role involves safe, efficient production on a 7‑on/7‑off roster covering day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate excavator or shovel and associated truck to extract and transport coal.
• Adhere to all safety and operating procedures, contributing to a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet output targets.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in large open‑cut mining operations.
• Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work shift patterns.

Required skills

• Excavator or shovel operation (mandatory).
• Truck operation (mandatory).
• Experience with safety management systems and safe work practices.
