Manager, Forensic Data Analytics

About the role

Join EY's Forensics & Integrity Services team as a Manager, leading high‑profile disputes, investigations and regulatory matters across Australia. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to protect and restore enterprise reputation through forensic data analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of forensic projects, ensuring high‑quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Analyse complex datasets using advanced tools to generate insights, build models, automate processes and produce evidential support for investigations.
• Collaborate with clients, legal teams and partners to understand challenges, manage stakeholder relationships and present findings.
• Contribute to business development, mentor junior staff and travel occasionally as required.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in forensic accounting, data analytics and dispute support.
• Relevant professional qualification (CPA, CA, CFF, CFE or equivalent).
• Proven ability to lead client engagements, manage multiple projects and develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong communication, discretion and professional judgment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python, Alteryx and JavaScript.
• Experience using data‑visualisation platforms such as Power BI.
• Knowledge of machine learning, pattern recognition, NLP and big‑data tools (Spark, Elasticsearch, Hadoop).
