Maintenance Services Coordinator

About the role

A full-time Maintenance Services Coordinator is needed at Mt St Vincent, an aged care facility in Ulverstone, Tasmania. The role coordinates and oversees the maintenance of the home's buildings, equipment and grounds so that they remain safe, functional and welcoming for residents, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance requests
• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance
• Organise external contractors and ensure repairs and upkeep are completed efficiently
• Work with the management team to maintain safety standards and support compliance requirements
• Keep the facility in excellent condition

Required profile

• Previous experience in maintenance coordination, facilities management or a similar role
• Trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience highly regarded
• Current National Police Certificate
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check

Required skills

• Building maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance practices
• Coordinating contractors and managing maintenance schedules
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
• Prioritising maintenance requests and managing competing demands
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and with the wider team
