About the role
CORTO is seeking a practising lawyer to join its fast‑growing legal‑tech team in Sydney. You will combine your legal expertise with a commercial mindset to help law firms understand and adopt CORTO’s AI‑driven solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Engage and convert prospective customers, partners and referral sources across the legal industry.
- Lead discovery conversations and product demonstrations for law firms.
- Collaborate with the CMO to align business‑development activities with marketing campaigns, events and market positioning.
- Work closely with the CEO on strategic channel opportunities and partner‑led growth.
- Represent CORTO at webinars, industry events and partner meetings.
- Translate customer and partner feedback into actionable insights for product, marketing and leadership teams.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience as a practising lawyer or legally trained professional.
- Strong understanding of law‑firm operations, including matters, client service, time recording, billing and invoicing.
- Commercial curiosity and genuine interest in moving into sales or business development within legal technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
