Integration and Test Engineer

About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer to support the design, integration, and testing of autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) platforms. The role involves hands‑on work with hardware and software subsystems to deliver mature, field‑ready capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers on AUV design, integration, and test activities.
• Develop, build, and operate physical integration environments for system maturity.
• Write software to automate hardware and software testing, including test frameworks and data analysis tools.
• Debug and troubleshoot electrical and software integration issues.
• Create, review, and execute test plans for internal and customer‑facing evaluations.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise for pre‑mission testing, vehicle tasking, and data analysis.
• Support in‑field debugging, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs, with up to 20% field time.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in software, mechatronic, electrical, or systems engineering with a focus on integration and test.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, highly organized and detail‑oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Commitment to an inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 security clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in software development for test automation and data analysis.
• Strong experience with Linux, command‑line interfaces, and network debugging.
• Hands‑on electronics troubleshooting using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analysers.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, sensor integration, and robotics control concepts.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts and control theory.
