ICT Application Support Specialist

About the role

The ICT Application Support Specialist will analyse, evaluate, modify, test and implement site‑wide information systems, providing first and second level support for a variety of business applications and operating systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑user support for business, internet/intranet and web‑based applications.
• Maintain and configure virtual servers, Cisco Callmanager, VoIP phones and user accounts.
• Resolve hardware and software issues for printers, laptops and desktops, including Windows 2012/Win7 and Linux OS.
• Support remote access technologies such as FTP, RDP and VPN.
• Document IT procedures and create manuals for custom applications.
• Coordinate system upgrades, enhancements and maintenance, liaising with vendors.

Required profile

• Year 12 completion or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with varied stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and retain Top‑Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) or TS/SCI clearance.
