HR Manager

About the role

Healthcare Australia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support its Primary Health Services business unit. You will partner with senior leaders and operational teams to deliver practical, commercially‑focused HR solutions that enhance workforce effectiveness and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders and operational teams to understand priorities and provide HR advice.
• Oversee HR operations and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance and consistency.
• Provide senior advice on complex employee and industrial relations matters.
• Use workforce data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for planning.
• Lead organisational change initiatives and improve HR processes, systems and ways of working.
• Coach leaders to build high‑performing, accountable and engaged teams, collaborating with Recruitment, Learning & Development and WHS specialists.

Required profile

• Proven HR operational and business partnering experience, especially in complex, frontline environments.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and industrial relations, with ability to manage escalated issues.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and turning business needs into people solutions.
• Experience in healthcare, aged care, community services or allied health is highly regarded.
• Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field.
