Flights and Accommodation Coordinator

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Flights and Accommodation Coordinator to manage large volumes of travel and accommodation bookings for employees, subcontractors and service partners. The role is based at the Head Office in Balcatta and reports to the Travel and Accommodation Team Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate flight bookings and room rostering for site‑based staff, handling modifications, cancellations and emergency requests.
• Monitor and resolve missed flights or no‑shows, investigating causes and implementing cost‑effective solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive travel records for reporting and audit purposes.
• Communicate travel updates promptly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with site managers to minimise disruptions and travel costs.
• Lead continuous improvement of travel booking processes to ensure consistency with company standards.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
• Ability to remain calm and solution‑focused when handling urgent travel issues.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Experience in fast‑paced environments managing simultaneous travel bookings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Experience with travel booking software, specifically INX.
