Fintech Senior Consultant – Front & Middle Office Integration

About the role

State Street is seeking a Senior Fintech Consultant to lead implementations of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) for front and middle‑office integration, focusing on the Investment Book of Records. The role involves guiding clients from requirement gathering through go‑live and ensuring they can operate the solution independently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to CRIMS implementation projects, analysing client requirements and providing product expertise.
• Assist Professional Services team members, develop best‑practice guidance and share knowledge.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, execute proof‑of‑concept projects, and support business development efforts.
• Educate customers on CRIMS methodology, advise on implementation best practices and post‑go‑live operation.
• Identify enhancement opportunities, document product improvements and communicate trends to product management.
• Report defects to Client Support and Product Management, validate fixes and improve documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing mission‑critical financial solutions, preferably in a bank, hedge fund, asset manager or wealth‑management firm.
• Strong knowledge of middle‑office workflows, security life‑cycle events, corporate actions, daily cash, position and transaction reconciliation.
• Experience with front‑office, middle‑office and back‑office processes and investment‑management software.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation, communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to travel 30‑50% globally and work effectively in remote settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SQL.
• Understanding of multi‑tier technical architectures, messaging systems and relational databases.
• Experience with post‑trade workflows and trade‑confirmation platforms such as CTM or TradeNeXus.
