Construction Director – Metro & Regional Projects

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Construction Director to lead engineering works across its metro and regional infrastructure portfolio in Victoria. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will drive design development, procurement and construction delivery for multiple large‑scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse tender opportunities and evaluate direct costs.
• Develop construction methods and technical submissions.
• Manage cost plans, schedules and project cash flow.
• Track quantities and budgets across design and build phases.
• Apply digital engineering tools to plan site activities.
• Manage risk across design and construction phases.
• Set standards for safety, quality and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Professional Engineer status or equivalent accreditation.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., Engineers Australia).
• White Card and construction safety certification.
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale ($100M+) construction projects.
