Clinical Psychologist – Remote freelance in Kalgoorlie-Boulder

About the role

Intellect is seeking a CISP‑registered Clinical Psychologist to join its telehealth platform on a full‑time freelance basis. The role is remote, based in Kalgoorlie‑Boulder, and combines direct clinical care with workplace assessments, psychosocial risk work, stakeholder partnership, crisis response, and research collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence‑based psychological therapy via 60‑minute video sessions, both in person and virtually, adhering to AHPRA and Intellect clinical governance standards.
• Conduct psychological and workplace assessments, including return‑to‑work and functional assessments.
• Manage case coordination, risk monitoring, and escalation where required.
• Contribute to psychosocial risk assessments and workplace mental health initiatives for client organisations.
• Liaise with client representatives and internal stakeholders to maintain clinical quality and reporting integrity.
• Support on‑site crisis response deployments, offering psychological first aid and follow‑up care.
• Participate in research and evaluation projects, supporting data collection and evidence generation.

Required profile

• CISP‑registered Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA registration preferred but not mandatory).
• Master’s or Doctoral qualification in Clinical Psychology with at least 3 years of clinical therapy and assessment experience.
• Experience in case management, workplace‑related assessments, and psychosocial risk or mental health programmes is highly regarded.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication skills, and ability to work with both individual clients and organisational stakeholders.
