Business Development Manager – Wound Closure

About the role

Join Johnson & Johnson's Wound Closure team in NSW to drive growth of innovative surgical technologies. You will work directly with surgeons, clinicians and hospital stakeholders to expand adoption of the portfolio across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Accelerate business growth by driving adoption of the Wound Closure portfolio and delivering outstanding sales results across key accounts.
• Cultivate trusted partnerships with surgeons, nurses, procurement teams and other healthcare professionals to create exceptional customer experiences.
• Identify and unlock new opportunities through strategic account planning, deep customer insights and tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Professional Education and Commercial teams to deliver innovative customer programs.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives, strengthen product expertise and deliver value beyond the product.

Required profile

• Strong hospital sales experience, preferably in cardiac or orthopaedic medical devices, with a proven ability to drive product adoption.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills, able to engage surgeons, nurses and procurement teams.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, confident delivering product training and in‑service programs.
• Ability to understand and convey scientific, clinical and medical‑technology concepts effectively.
• Self‑starter with a collaborative mindset, able to work independently in the field.
