About the role

The Year 11 Learning & Engagement Leader (Leader Band B-1) will coordinate learning initiatives and student engagement for Year 11 at John Pirie Secondary School. This position offers a full‑time, fixed‑term appointment with the possibility of part‑time or flexible arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Year 11 curriculum delivery and engagement programs.
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external partners to enhance student outcomes.
• Monitor and report on student progress, attendance, and wellbeing.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve learning environments and student participation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Year 11 students and staff.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and experience in secondary education.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
