Warehouse Operator – Storeperson (Defence Aviation)

About the role

Join Boeing Defence Australia’s supply chain team in Townsville as a Warehouse Operator (Storeperson). You will support the AH‑64 Apache sustainment program by handling, storing and distributing critical defence aviation materiel.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue defence aviation supplies in accordance with BDA and ADF safety policies.
• Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records following Defence supply policy.
• Support disposal recommendations and take appropriate actions as required.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans to address supply‑chain risks.
• Collaborate closely with the broader warehouse team on all operational activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years experience in defence aerospace or Foreign Military Sales supply‑chain management.
• Hands‑on experience with defence warehousing and distribution systems.
• Working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual.
• High‑risk work licence and Australian citizenship to meet security requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP SAP for defence logistics.
