User Support Officer

About the role

The City of Gosnells is seeking a motivated IT professional to join its Information Services team as a User Support Officer. In this role you will be the first point of contact for staff across multiple sites, delivering Level 1 and Level 2 help‑desk support and ensuring a smooth digital experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide frontline support for end‑user devices, software and applications.
• Diagnose, resolve and log incidents and service requests in line with ITIL processes.
• Assist staff across libraries, civic centre, operations centre and workshops, adapting to a variety of environments.
• Maintain effective communication with users and collaborate with the wider IT team to implement solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering frontline IT support to a diverse user base.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with staff at all levels.
• Capability to multitask independently and think strategically to solve problems.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain one).
