Travel Consultant – Cruise Specialist (Indooroopilly)

About the role

Join Cruiseabout’s new Indooroopilly store as a Cruise Consultant and turn your passion for cruising into a rewarding career. You will guide customers from dreaming about a cruise to booking their perfect holiday, delivering exceptional service across walk‑in, email and phone channels.

Key responsibilities

• Quote, book and invoice cruise bookings and packages accurately.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Provide outstanding customer service for walk‑in, email and phone enquiries.
• Upsell and cross‑sell additional products to maximise revenue.
• Monitor and act on all relevant mailboxes daily.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to recommend the ideal cruise for each client.

Required profile

• Proven customer service experience with a focus on meeting sales targets.
• Passion for travel and cruising, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Motivated, organised and eager to exceed customer expectations.

Required skills

• Experience with a Global Distribution System (GDS) – preferred.
