Transport Planner Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner/Traffic Engineer to lead our Perth‑based Integrated Transport and Mobility team. You will mentor a diverse group of professionals, support projects across Australia and guide the team’s growth within Aurecon’s transport business.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the Perth Transport Leadership Team, implementing business strategy and career development for your team.
• Engage with clients, win new projects and ensure delivery of high‑quality work.
• Build the team’s reputation within the industry and contribute to Aurecon’s Integrated Transport and Mobility network.
• Collaborate with the wider Aurecon business on multidisciplinary projects.

Required profile

• Strong people‑leadership abilities and a passion for developing team members.
• Knowledge of Australian transport and planning standards, policies and guidelines, with experience on Australian transport projects.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality projects in a collaborative environment.
