Territory Sales Manager – Central Coast NSW

About the role

Purina is seeking a motivated Territory Sales Manager to own the Central Coast and Newcastle area, driving sales, distribution and growth for its pet nutrition portfolio. You will act as a category expert, influential negotiator and trusted business partner for independent grocers, specialty retailers and multi‑site operators.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate in‑store training sessions on Purina products and nutritional solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver customer sales by implementing and executing Field Sales Cycle Plans.
• Drive shopper engagement through effective shelf placement and merchandising strategies.
• Achieve sales KPIs and continuously seek new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Completed university degree (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Power BI.
• Outgoing, commercially savvy with a “can‑do” attitude.
• Willingness to spend up to four nights away from home per four‑week cycle.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and full Australian working rights.
