Telehealth General Practitioner – Remote (WA) – $360/hr

About the role

We are looking for an AHPRA‑registered General Practitioner to join Alternaleaf’s telehealth team in Western Australia. This fully remote position allows you to provide high‑quality consultations from home, primarily during late afternoons and evenings (3 pm–9 pm WA time).

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 10‑minute telehealth consultations across a wide range of presentations and age groups.
• Prescribe S4 and Schedule 8 medications in accordance with Western Australian regulations.
• Document assessments, prescriptions and follow‑up plans in a digital‑first environment.
• Collaborate with registered nurses and doctor‑support leads to streamline patient care.
• Utilise digital tools and platforms to optimise clinical outcomes and service efficiency.

Required profile

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Strong knowledge of WA prescribing regulations, including Schedule 8 medications.
• Ability to manage 4–6 consults per hour while maintaining clinical quality.
• Familiarity with privacy legislation, RTPM and medico‑legal obligations.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to continuity of patient care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with multiple telehealth and electronic medical record platforms.
