Tech Lead – Agile Delivery (Contract or Permanent)

About the role

The Technical Lead will provide hands‑on technical leadership within agile delivery teams, ensuring solutions are designed, built, and delivered in line with enterprise architecture standards and engineering best practices. You will act as the primary technical authority for the Scrum team, collaborating closely with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, Product Owners and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design and maintain alignment with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure solutions follow architecture roadmaps.
• Drive technical planning during sprint and Program Increment sessions.
• Identify, assess and mitigate technical risks and implementation challenges.
• Ensure non‑functional requirements such as performance, security, observability and accessibility are met.
• Guide engineering teams on coding standards, development practices and quality expectations.
• Support integration planning, deployment readiness and operational supportability.
• Contribute to technical governance, peer reviews and engineering assurance activities.
• Mentor developers and help uplift capabilities across delivery teams.
• Participate in technical communities, guilds and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise combined with proven leadership capability.
• Ability to balance hands‑on delivery with mentoring, coordination and technical decision‑making.
• Eligibility to obtain or already hold Baseline security clearance.
