About the role

The Tech Area Architect – Get Help is responsible for defining and evolving the technology landscape that supports ANZ’s banker‑assisted and customer‑servicing experiences. Working across contact‑centre platforms and assisted‑servicing applications, the role ensures scalable, secure and seamless journeys for bankers, contact‑centre teams and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Shape target and transition architecture for banker‑assisted servicing, contact‑centre platforms and supporting applications.
• Translate business priorities and customer propositions into practical, secure solution designs.
• Define solution overviews, integration patterns and subsystem interactions to maintain alignment across teams.
• Establish and maintain architecture standards, guardrails and non‑functional requirements.
• Provide architectural leadership to delivery squads, guiding design decisions and ensuring efficient delivery.
• Lead design workshops, resolve complex design issues and support governance activities.
• Identify and manage architectural, operational and delivery risks.
• Define coexistence and transition patterns between legacy and modern platforms.
• Drive consistency in customer and banker servicing journeys across channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise architecture, preferably within banking or contact‑centre environments.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing transitions from legacy to modern platforms.
• Solid understanding of security, scalability and compliance requirements.
