Team Leader – Production (Admixtures)

About the role

Sika Australia is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee the production of admixture chemicals. You will manage plant equipment, ensure product quality, and lead a crew to meet daily output targets in a safe, compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment to produce finished goods according to schedule.
• Weigh, charge, and record raw material usage while applying FIFO stock rotation.
• Label, pack, and package products as directed by batch sheets.
• Prepare and submit QC samples and documentation to the laboratory.
• Follow all Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs) and Job Instruction Sheets (JISs).
• Organise and supervise work teams to achieve production goals.
• Assist the Factory/Site Manager with production planning.
• Ensure safe operation, routine cleaning, and minor preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinate external servicing, manage contractors, and maintain permits.
• Champion safety, health, environmental compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading production teams and enforcing WHS regulations.
• Strong ability to motivate, mentor and supervise staff.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and organisational skills.
• Self‑directed, hands‑on approach with a focus on quality and safety.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP exposure highly desirable.
