Talent Acquisition Coordinator – Fixed Term (Hybrid)

About the role

Queensland Rail is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join its high‑performing recruitment team in Brisbane CBD. This fixed‑term position runs until July 2027 (with potential extension) and offers a hybrid work model, allowing up to 50% of the time to be worked from home.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for recruitment enquiries, handling an average of 70+ emails daily and providing accurate policy advice.
• Ensure all recruitment approvals are compliant with internal processes.
• Support bulk recruitment activities such as assessment centres, testing bookings, and maintain tracking spreadsheets.
• Provide high‑level administrative support across end‑to‑end recruitment cycles.
• Manage internal movement tasks and issue Letters of Offer.
• Process contingent workforce requirements, including procurement and stakeholder liaison.
• Administer psychometric assessments and review results.
• Assist with recruitment projects, including process mapping and guide development.
• Travel regionally on a monthly basis (1–2 night stays) to deliver psychometric testing once qualified.

Required profile

• Strong administrative efficiency with the ability to prioritise multiple duties.
• Effective time‑management skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage a high‑volume recruitment inbox and meet tight response deadlines.
