Systems Engineer – Cloud & Infrastructure

About the role

Energy One is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, implement and continuously improve the cloud and on‑premises infrastructure that powers its internal services, client platforms and critical trading operations. The role offers the chance to work across a global environment, contributing to platform reliability, automation, security and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud and on‑premises infrastructure solutions supporting internal services, client platforms and trading operations.
• Provide technical support and engineering expertise for Energy One teams, client environments and trading systems.
• Build, optimise and support backup, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
• Investigate technical issues, perform root‑cause analysis and implement sustainable improvements.
• Develop and maintain automation, scripting and infrastructure‑as‑code solutions.
• Collaborate with management and cross‑functional teams to guide technical direction and support company growth.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Entra ID, Teams, Intune).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3 and IAM (2+ years preferred).
• Background in systems or infrastructure engineering, including servers, virtualisation and end‑user computing.
• Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux administration.
• Solid troubleshooting, networking and security knowledge.
