About the role
Morley Senior High School is seeking a dedicated Student Support Teacher to join its multi‑tiered support system. The position starts in Term 2, 2026 and is a permanent full‑time role focused on enhancing student wellbeing, attendance, and behaviour.
Key responsibilities
- Implement positive behaviour support initiatives and manage individual student cases.
- Provide restorative conversations and interventions to address behavioural concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external partners to support at‑risk students.
- Potentially oversee Year‑Coordinators as part of the support team.
Required profile
- Strong commitment to student services and a desire to develop expertise in student support.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Experience or interest in engaging and motivating students who are at educational risk.
- Alignment with the school’s vision of diversity, high expectations, and continuous improvement.
