Specialist Pharmacist – Medical Services

About the role

The Specialist Pharmacist – Medical Services provides comprehensive clinical pharmacy services across Prince of Wales Hospital and its affiliated services. Working within an extended‑hours pharmacy team, the role ensures safe, effective and evidence‑based medication therapy for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services for the Medical Services specialty area.
• Collaborate closely with the Team Leader and Lead Pharmacist to maintain pharmacy coverage across all operational hours.
• Support the Quality Use of Medicines initiatives and optimise medication management at a service level.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence‑based medication therapy.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist at Grade 2 level.
• Permanent full‑time position (38 hours per week).
• Experience in clinical pharmacy within a hospital setting.
