About the role
Join a friendly suburban law firm that handles a broad range of matters, from family disputes to criminal defence and commercial contracts. This full‑time solicitor role offers a mix of challenging legal work and flexible hours, ideal for an autonomous professional with 1‑3 years post‑admission experience.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, prepare and review a variety of legal agreements and documents with meticulous attention to detail.
- Appear in court for family, criminal and contractual matters.
- Provide client advice through correspondence, meetings and conferences.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy.
- Maintain accurate hard‑copy and electronic case files.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years post‑admission experience (PAE) with proven court work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of family law, criminal law and general contract law.
- Effective time‑management, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with colleagues.
