Software Engineer – AI & Systems

About the role

Dingo Software is looking for a Software Engineer – AI & Systems to design, build and ship production‑grade AI applications that power predictive maintenance and integration platforms for the mining industry. You will work in a small, autonomous Data Science & AI team, collaborating closely with product and service engineers to deliver reliable, intelligent software for global mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop production AI applications, including backend services, data pipelines, model integration and user‑facing components.
• Build and enhance agentic AI products such as multi‑agent systems, autonomous workflows and human‑in‑the‑loop tools for equipment condition analysis and decision support.
• Partner with data scientists to move models from prototype to production, creating evaluation harnesses, monitoring, and hand‑off processes.
• Deploy AI solutions using CI/CD‑enabled MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability and observability.
• Contribute to shared engineering practices through code reviews, design discussions and pair programming.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering production‑grade AI or machine‑learning applications.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, reliability engineering and end‑to‑end software delivery.
• Self‑directed mindset with the ability to drive work independently while collaborating closely with peers.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment with regular on‑site collaboration.
