Cyber Security Specialist – Cloud & AI

About the role

We are looking for a senior Cyber Security Specialist to lead security across a modern, cloud‑native environment and support the development of next‑generation AI‑driven systems. The role combines SecOps, cloud security and ISO 27001 certification responsibilities, working in a regulated Australian context.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and certification of ISO 27001.
• Design, deploy and operate security monitoring solutions (SIEM, detection, alerting).
• Own vulnerability management and incident response processes.
• Secure AWS environments, including IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub and related services.
• Integrate security controls into AI/agentic system design.
• Ensure compliance with the Essential Eight and Australian privacy regulations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on cyber security / SecOps experience.
• Proven experience delivering ISO 27001 implementation.
• Strong expertise in AWS security services.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, vulnerability management and incident response.
• Knowledge of Australian privacy and compliance frameworks.
