Social Media Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to build and scale an organic social presence for a fast‑growing consumer wellness brand in Australia. You will own the end‑to‑end strategy, turning content into a powerful engine for engagement, education and community growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and community channels such as Facebook Groups.
• Develop and manage monthly content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Publish, schedule and optimise content to ensure consistency, timing and performance.
• Build and nurture an engaged online community by responding to comments, messages and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with founders, creative teams, influencers and UGC creators to produce compelling social content.
• Repurpose high‑performing paid content into organic formats to maximise reach.
• Track and analyse key performance metrics including engagement, follower growth and content virality.
• Identify emerging trends, platform shifts and viral opportunities to continuously optimise performance.
• Support live events, brand activations and content capture opportunities as needed.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience managing social media for DTC, eCommerce or consumer‑facing brands.
• Strong background in women’s wellness, health, beauty, supplements or lifestyle industries is highly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, founder‑led and highly iterative environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with creative, marketing and influencer teams.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of organic content performance on TikTok, Instagram and Meta platforms.
• Proven ability to create engaging content based on audience psychology and platform behaviour.
• Experience managing online communities and driving engagement.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple content streams and deadlines.
