Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with DevOps

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Site Reliability Engineer with strong DevOps and platform lifecycle expertise to ensure the reliability, performance and scalability of our production platforms in Sydney. You will work closely with development teams, driving automation, resilience and continuous improvement across our infrastructure stack.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain availability, performance and resiliency of production platforms; lead incident response and post‑mortem analysis.
• Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, ArgoCD), artifact repositories and databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Plan and execute upgrades for Kubernetes, Harbor, Vault, Nexus, ELK and other platform components.
• Design and implement high‑availability, disaster‑recovery and self‑healing architectures.
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Operate and support production‑grade Kubernetes environments (Rancher/OpenShift) and assist application teams with workload troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and create actionable alerts.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps.
• Proven ability to manage platform lifecycles, conduct capacity planning and drive reliability improvements.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and resilience risk assessments.
