Site Manager

About the role

Join a passionate and progressive team as an experienced Site Manager, supporting the delivery of commercial construction projects during a period of strong growth. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise day‑to‑day site operations across commercial construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to achieve programme milestones.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ/OHS systems and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Conduct site walks, toolbox talks, safety audits, inspections and observation reporting.
• Monitor project quality, defects, workmanship and quality‑assurance processes.
• Drive programme performance, productivity and procurement schedules.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify constructability issues.
• Monitor site budgets, preliminaries and site‑related expenditure.
• Support and lead site teams through clear direction, accountability and collaboration.

Required profile

• 5+ years proven experience as a Site Manager in a commercial construction environment.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, safety legislation and QA systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Focus on safety, quality and programme delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and client relationships.
