Senior Relationship Credit Manager, Emerging Corporate

About the role

The Senior Relationship Credit Manager, Emerging Corporate, will lead and grow relationships with owners and decision‑makers of ANZ's largest mid‑market corporate clients. Working closely with an Assistant Manager, you will provide sophisticated credit solutions across a range of financial products and support ANZ’s 2030 Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Emerging Corporate customers with a customer‑centric approach.
• Collaborate with product partners and the broader credit team to structure and negotiate deals.
• Build strong relationships with operations teams to improve efficiencies and minimise non‑lending losses.
• Apply credit and industry portfolio analysis to prepare and recommend credit proposals.
• Ensure compliance with Group Audit, QA and audit standards, addressing any issues promptly.
• Work closely with lending services to minimise provisions and manage risk.
• Maintain deep technical expertise in working capital financing, trade finance, cash management and trade facilities.

Required profile

• Significant experience in commercial banking, preferably within the mid‑market or specialist segment.
• Proven ability to manage complex credit relationships and deliver tailored financing solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on credit risk assessment and portfolio management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to adhering to regulatory and audit requirements.
