About the role
We are looking for a Senior Planner to develop and maintain schedules for a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across resources, energy, transport, buildings and defence. You will work closely with project teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and alignment with cost‑time‑resource structures.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, monitor and update project and programme schedules throughout the lifecycle, from development to delivery.
- Create and align Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with Cost‑Time‑Resource (CTR) frameworks.
- Collaborate with contractors’ schedulers to maintain high‑quality Level 4 schedules and track against baselines.
- Analyse schedules using Earned Value, critical path and other techniques to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Assess schedule impacts, run scenario tests and devise mitigation and corrective action plans.
- Establish standardized planning practices and act as a subject‑matter expert for the team.
Required profile
- Proven experience preparing and maintaining schedules on large‑scale infrastructure projects or programmes.
- Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on delivering key milestones.
