Senior Mobile Software Engineer

About the role

Lendi Group is looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to shape secure, reliable, and high‑performance mobile experiences for customers and brokers navigating the property‑buying journey. You will work at the intersection of product, design, and engineering, using both human expertise and AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of React Native + Expo applications for key customer and broker journeys.
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript/React Native code, both directly and via AI‑generated suggestions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features that meet regulatory and security standards.
• Produce structured specifications (OpenSpec) that guide both human and AI implementation.
• Review and improve AI‑generated code, ensuring quality, traceability, and performance.
• Participate in on‑site collaboration days (2 per week) and contribute to a hybrid team environment.

Required profile

• Senior‑level mobile developer with several years of experience building production‑grade React Native apps.
• Comfortable working with AI‑assisted coding tools and spec‑driven development workflows.
• Strong understanding of security, quality, and regulatory considerations in fintech.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting (onsite 2 days/week) in Sydney or Brisbane.
