Senior Manager – Loan Syndications (Sydney)

About the role

The Global Loan Syndications team at ANZ is looking for a Senior Manager to support the end‑to‑end arrangement of debt transactions for Australian corporate borrowers. You will work closely with lead bankers, internal partners and external legal advisors to originate, structure and distribute syndicated loans across a range of purposes, including acquisitions, project financing, refinancing and general corporate needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lead bankers in originating transactions and preparing pitch documentation.
• Manage investor queries during live syndications and maintain information flow.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day deal execution, including KYC, conditions precedent and closing activities.
• Prepare underwriting approval forms and credit memorandum commentary.
• Collect, analyse and distribute syndicated loan market pricing data and trends.
• Engage with customers and other banks to gauge market liquidity and appetite.
• Represent ANZ’s syndicated loan franchise at external events.

Required profile

• Experience in research, analysis or credit within an institutional, corporate banking or product environment.
• Understanding of loan syndication processes and investor behaviour.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced transaction environment.
