About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to head our North Sydney accounting firm. The role is focused on building a modern, people‑first practice that moves beyond traditional tax‑season survival.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow the North Sydney team, creating a culture of accountability and momentum.
• Own end‑to‑end workflow delivery, ensuring high‑quality client service and compliance.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, driving retention and identifying advisory opportunities.
• Shape the firm’s strategy, commercial direction and innovative service offerings.
• Champion a modern client experience and continuous improvement across the practice.

Required profile

• Significant leadership experience in accounting, public practice or a professional services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive commercial outcomes.
• Passion for people development and building high‑performing teams.
• Willingness to challenge the status‑quo and implement modern, scalable processes.
